About Koine Guide

Founder & Creator
David Nicotra
I became a Christian when I was around 16 years old. I grew up in the church, but the Gospel didn't click for me until I saw other kids my age starting to take their faith seriously. Ever since then, I have felt called to serve the Lord with all of my gifts. That has primarliy manifested itself in my love for my family and my church (Sterling Park Baptist Church).
I was first introduced to NT Greek in 2007. I minored in NT Greek during undergrad and took courses in seminary at RTS, DC, where I was a TA for Greek for a couple of years.
I want this platform to serve the church by inviting people to engage with God's Word, equip people to properly handle and respect it, and be a place for people to grow in their love for God's Word.
Our Mission
Get more people into the Greek text of the New Testament with confidence, so future generations will have the skills to teach, defend, and apply God's Word.
Why Koine Guide?
A tool designed to give you reps on the New Testament itself, encourage personal interaction with Greek text, and provide personalized feedback at scale.
Seminary students often struggle to retain Greek skills after graduation. The jump from academic Greek to confident translation is difficult. That's where Koine Guide comes in.
Unlike Bible study tools that focus on gathering resources and providing information about Greek text, Koine Guide builds muscle memory through interactive practice. Using modern LLM technology, we deliver personalized feedback at scale.
What's Next?
Future plans include: LXX support, Early Church Fathers, Hebrew & Aramaic resources, and community study groups where users can share progress with each other.
I'm excited to share this tool with you and hope it will be a blessing as you study God's Word.
